Yoga with a focus on deep breathing and relaxation lowers both blood pressure and stress hormone levels as well as hip opening exercises where the stress has made the hips "locked together" makes the stress "dissolve". The fascia (connective tissue) that runs through the whole body can "stick together" if it is not stretched out, which can contribute to pain, which in itself causes stress. 

Yoga is a great way to reduce stress and pain.
